American media reporter Chanania reported that the Indianapolis police are investigating a conflict between Beverly and a fan during the Game 6 game between the Bucks and Pacers.

Chanania added that police had confirmed to him that they were working with Gainbridge Fieldhouse to review the video footage and planned to speak to all parties involved.

In Game 6 of the first round of the NBA playoffs, during the fourth quarter of the Bucks' game against the Pacers, Beverly had a friction with a Pacers fan. Beverly asked the Pacers fan for the ball, and after getting the ball, he threw it at the opponent.
