Glenn Davis sentenced to jail

According to Bleacher Report, former NBA player Glen Davis was sentenced to 40 months in prison, plus three years of supervised release, for defrauding the league's welfare program.


In addition, Glenn Davis was ordered to pay $80,000 in restitution. Conditions of supervised release include attending financial management classes and undergoing mandatory drug treatment.


Twenty-two people (18 former NBA players), including Glenn Davis, were convicted in November 2023 of submitting false medical claims to the NBA Players Health and Welfare Program.


Glenn Davis' career total earnings are $33.1 million. He played for the Celtics, Magic, and Clippers for 8 seasons. He played 514 regular season games in his career, averaging 8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.3 blocks per game.
